• Owner who is home or able to take Chance with them most of the time
• Fully fenced yard
• Detached home--no apartments, condo or attached housing where barking will be an issue
• Willingness to continue working with him on his marking and barking
• Can be an only dog. No large dogs or dogs that are busy, rambunctious and expecting Chance to play with them
• good with cats
• No children under 4
• Cannot be crated
• Willingness to have dog on the furniture and the bed

Adoption Fee: $200

Chance is an extremely people bonded dog and is unhappy when not with his humans. He is learning that he can be away from them and the world won't end, but he will bark and carry on. We have been working on this with him and he is better, but an adopter will have to continue this work with him.

He is not reliable in his house training when left unsupervised. This may change with time, patience and consistency. He is not allowed full access to my house when I am not with him and is gated into the kitchen with my other pugs when I am gone for easy clean up when there is an accident.

He has very good manners generally, walks very well on leash, travels well and LOVES to be out and about and meeting new people. He could care less about other dogs. He is very good with children, but wouldn't do well in a rambunctious house where he could be overwhelmed. He is good with my cats as well.

He is quite happy to just be with you. He doesn't need to be on you, but wants to know where you are and will settle happily into a dog bed in whatever room you are in. He does not have accidents when he is with his human, but only when left alone.

He can be a picky eater so a new owner should expect some initial food refusal.
